Rose Petals is one of the most widely used herb in Indian Beauty as well as in Indian culinary. It heals the gut, and improves digestive system of body.
Application of Rose Petals-
As a metabolism strengthening agent: Brew a few dried petals of rose in hot water for 5 minutes. Strain and enjoy. You may add other herbs or sweetner or additives of your choice. It is known to heal gut, by strengthening the digestive system
As a taste enhancer for beverages: Add rose petals while you prepare your beverages to enhance their taste. It can be used as an alternative to rose syrup, or added to ice creams, lemonade, sweets, etc. You can even prepare rose ice cubes and store it to add it directly to fresh juices or beverages.
As face toner: Add some rose petals to water and let it steep for a few hours. Spray it on your face as toner. You can even use cooled rose tea (without any sweetener/additives) for this purpose. Store it in refrigerator and use within 2-3 days.
As hair tea: Add some rose petals to water and let it steep for a few hours, or take some cooled rose tea (without any sweetener/ additives). Use this to prepare your hair masks or last rinse after shampoo for shiny and mild aromatic hair.
As maceration to oils: Add some dried rose petals to an airtight clean container. Pour the bottle with any carrier oil of your choice. Close it and keep it in warm sun for a week. Use this oil for your hair, face or consumption purposes, as applicable, within 2-3 months.
As aromatherapy- Burn a few rose petals, or add it to melted wax/ diffusers for aromatherapy.
